		<description><![CDATA[[...] Now… here’s a suggestion for used books that I’m a bit hesitant to put forward. Have you ever heard of altered books? They are discarded books repurposed as works of art. Most people use the altered book  as a journal, canvas, or sketch pad, adding their art to the existing page;  2-dimensional and very cool. Check out some examples here.  An occasional artist will venture into the third dimension and create a sculpture from a book. Here’s what I mean&#8230; and here. And now and then some visionary will cross all boundaries and come up with something truly extraordinary. Take a look at this evening gown made from Little Golden Books. [...]]]></description>
